My first successful abstract collage made of
strips of 1970s newsprint stained in coffee.
After the laying of the paper strips, I mixed sawdust with an acrylic varnish to finish off the surface
A kind of "chance-Art" i had no idea where it was going
as I worked on it. My technique was just consistency and patience. I made many that I tossed out, but this one i felt was worthy of
a long life. This work could be hung as a companion work to Color Varations (2023) as they are the same size, orientation and the colors may harmonize well.
